London Luton
London Luton Airport selected Milton Bayer to work with them across all their marketing communications, commencing with the launch of their Community Engagement Strategy 2008 -2012. Milton Bayer designed and produced a 24-page strategic brochure, microsite and presentation. The document sets out London Luton’s ‘Vision for the Future’ along with the ‘Action Areas’ to help achieve their vision of a more sustainable future for the community and its economy. The strategy also outlines environmental policies for the next 5 years.
Over the past 18 months Milton Bayer have helped to develop an integrated marketing strategy designed to reposition the airport and help to eliminate negative perceptions of the airport. The strategy is based around the notion of ‘Clearly Better’ and is designed to influence the way in which the organisation communicates with all of it’s audiences and stakeholders.
The most recent tactical execution of the strategy was an integrated campaign designed to promote the airports airside retail outlets, the campaign consisted of large format outdoor formats and online display advertising. Other tactical executions will include a B2B campaign in the Spring designed to encourage SME’s and travel agents to consider London Luton as a viable business traveller airport.
